I show burned out women with digestive issues how take a proactive, holistic approach to healing by sharing healthy recipes that taste great, and sustainable lifestyle tips that are easy to implement in everyday life.
Like you, I used to be so disconnected from my body that I didn’t recognize I was chronically stressed (despite constantly feeling irritable, anxious, and overwhelmed–um, hello!). By the time I was 32, I was facing career burnout and suffering emotionally from unresolved trauma. My body was screaming for help with a host of painful physical symptoms, but I kept dismissing them as “normal.” I thought I was living a healthy, balanced lifestyle, but my body begged to differ.
When I was later diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, my doctor wanted to prescribe expensive biological medication with dangerous side effects. I believed I could heal myself without biologics, but I didn’t have the resources or the support system for how to do it. Once again, I felt frustrated and overwhelmed–but determined.
I knew changing my eating pattern would help curb the inflammation in my gut and supply my body with vital nutrients to heal itself. It was exhausting searching for recipes that fit my needs and tasted good. After one too many meltdowns, I began modifying my favorite dishes to be less inflammatory so I could still enjoy them and creating new ones. I got good at combining flavors that nourished my body on a deeper level–finally, eating was fun again!
I’ve spent the last five years educating myself, testing various treatment protocols and holistic healing methods, and reconnecting to the language of my inner wisdom. My journey has taken me far beyond the healing of my physical body and I couldn’t have done it without a holistic approach. Now that I’ve reached full remission from Crohn’s Disease, I enjoy a slower, more sustainable pace of life with more freedom and less stress. I’ve identified what I need to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle, and I want that for you, too.
Now my mission is to share what I've learned to help women like you make informed, proactive decisions about your health while practicing supportive, enjoyable habits so you can live a more fulfilling life without discomfort.

In the modern world, it’s impossible to avoid toxins–they’re in our air, food, water, furniture, clothing, cars–you name it. However, there are things we can do to limit our exposure. Switching to natural cleaning products is a great (and easy) place to start.
In this post, I’ll break down what these cleaning products are made of, and the harmful effects they pose not only to your health but the health of your kids, your pets and the greater environment.
